“VACUITÉ” by Yann Mazieres is a short film that follows a teenager in deep depression. On New Year’s Day, he decides to make resolutions, hoping that they will cure his depression. With a minimalist aesthetic and strong emotional charge, the film explores inner emptiness and the difficulty of rebuilding.
